(Now would be a good time to turn word wrap on)

What is it:

This is the game classic game of simon. Remember that game with the blinking lights and the sounds where you had to remember the order? Well, this is that game, but with sound and blinking X's. Each round, one more item will be added to the pattern, which you have to type in every round. If you make a mistake, you lose. You can win, but you have to get an insane amount of them right. I severly doubt anyone will be able to do it without a piece of paper or a photographic memory handy.

How to play:

The controls a very simple. Use the arrows to choose which area to pick. Clear quits out of the game prematurly, as does randomly pressing the arrow keys. To hear the sound, either, but a 2.5 mm <-> 3.5 mm converter (probably the best idea), or plug in you you link cable the your calculator, and touch the other end to the top of either a headphone cable, or one of those cheesy computer speaker cables. (With the headphones or speakers still attached to the cable in either case.)

Why is it:

Hmm...thats a toughy, mainly because I was bored one day and figured that the 83 needs more small cheesy 700 bytes games (too bad this on is 800 bytes :P) that are good for a quick brake during math. So, I thought of a few things, and, being the lazy person that I am, choose the easiest, simon.

Version Information:

1.1 -
Added Sound
Changed a few things so it'll work better
Umm...it still works, I hope

1.0 -
Official release
Umm...it works, I think

Future versions -
Optimize code, which is badly needed
High Score
Release the source

Yes, there is a reason I didn't include the source code. That reason is that I programmed this in one day, and the coding is terrible. I do believe the best way to learn is be studying others code, but if you looked at the code to this, you'd be learning wrong. Once I fix it up a bit, I'll release it (look under future versions). If you are really dying to have the source (and I have no idea why you would be) I'll give it to you if you e-mail me at: Dulce97@aol.com

Special Thanks to:
Bill Nagel - For something I can't remember at this time
Harper Maddox - For helping out with some of the code and for chess
Tim Redmond - Hmm...
Dhordain Florent - For the sound routines
Someone Else - I forgot who this was and what they did
